Friday night high school football highlights

Elk Grove area high schools went 2-2 in the playoffs last night, with both home teams winning their games.

Elk Grove High School hosted Turlock and took control of the game early in the first half and cruised to an easy victory, 42-19. That sets up a rematch of last year’s playoff game against Folsom next Friday at Folsom in the Division 1 semi final game. Folsom easily defeated Sheldon 41-14.

Cosumnes Oaks traveled to Oak Ridge and got down early, but came back late to make it a 7 point game before Oak Ridge scored twice last to make it a 41-28 final.

Bradshaw Christian trailed early in their game at home against Argonaut before coming back for the victory, 34-29. BCS will play Amador in the championship game in Stockton next Saturday.
