Watch Summary
Wednesday, November 30, 2016 NIGHT WATCH Time: 0210 hours S-1 (Sacramento resident) was contacted at the above location while seated in a vehicle. Upon contact, S-1 was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and narcotic paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested then issued a misdemeanor citation and released. DAY WATCH Time: 1421 hours S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was arrested for an active warrant then transported to the main jail. Time: 1557 hours Three unknown suspects entered Rite Aid and proceeded to conceal several bottles of alcohol under their clothing. The suspects then exited the business without paying for the merchandise and fled the area in a black vehicle. The initial call indicated that one of the suspects involved in the shoplifting was possibly armed with handgun in his waistband. Officers were unable to independently verify this information and no weapons were used or displayed in the theft. EVENING WATCH Time: 1632 hours S-1 (Sacramento resident) was arrested for public intoxication and violating the conditions of his probation then transported to the main jail. Time: 1750 hours When the victim arrived home, the three occupants of a nearby parked vehicle asked him for assistance with their disabled vehicle. When the victim approached the car, one of the suspects who is known to the victim, pulled out a handgun and pointed it at him. An unknown second suspect then took the victim’s wallet. The three suspects fled the area in a red vehicle towards Elk Grove Florin Rd. The victim was not injured during the robbery and responding officers were unable to locate the suspects. Time: 2129 hours S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was operating a motor vehicle that was stopped for a vehicle code violation. Upon contact, S-1 refused to provide identification and would not follow instructions. S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment and resisted officers’ efforts to detain him. S-1 was eventually detained and a records check revealed that S-1’s driver’s license was suspended and that he was on probation. A search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of several open containers of alcoholic. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail. |
