Watch Summary Friday, December 2, 2016 NIGHT WATCH Time: 0250 hours An EGPD officer observed a vehicle being driven by an unknown suspect at the above location. A records check revealed that vehicle had been reported stolen out of Las Vegas, NV. When officers attempted to conduct a vehicle stop, the driver did not yield and led officers on a pursuit that travelled 13 miles into Sacramento County. Due to safety concerns, the pursuit was terminated near Lindale Dr. and Florin Rd. CHP later found the stolen vehicle unoccupied in the 5500 block of Sky Parkway. DAY WATCH Time: 0835 hours S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was arrested for an active warrant then transported to the main jail.
Time: 1516 hours S-1 (Sacramento resident) was taken into custody for making threats then transported to juvenile hall. EVENING WATCH Time: 2017 hours S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was operating a motor vehicle that was involved in a collision with another vehicle. Officers arrived and contacted S-1. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1’s two small children were passengers inside that vehicle that S-1 had been operating at the time of the collision. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested. Time: 2234 hours S-1 (Ripon resident) was operating a motor vehicle that was stopped for a vehicle code violation. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested. |

Watch Summary Saturday, December 3, 2016 NIGHT WATCH No major incidents or arrests logged. DAY WATCH Time: 0614 hours S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was contacted while sleeping in the driver’s seat of a vehicle that was stopped at a green light with the engine running. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested. EVENING WATCH Time: 1853 hours S-1 (Sacramento resident) was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for a vehicle code violation. Upon contact, S-1 was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and narcotic paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested then issued a misdemeanor citation and released. Time: 1956 hours S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was arrested for violating a restraining order and the conditions of his probation then transported to the main jail.
Time: 2227 hours S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was involve in a verbal argument with V-1 and V-2 that escalated into a physical altercation. During the altercation, S-1 threw V-2 to the ground and punched V-2 several times. When V-1 attempted to intervene, S-1 threw V-1 to the ground. V-1 suffered a visible injury. S-1 fled the scene in a vehicle and was later located at another location. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail. V-1 was granted an emergency protective order against S-1. Time: 2317 hours S-1 (Sacramento resident) was operating a motor vehicle that had been reported stolen out of Sacramento County. Officers conducted a vehicle stop and detained S-1. Upon contact, S-1 provided false information about his identity. A search of the vehicle that S-1 was driving led to the discovery of narcotics. A records check of S-1’s real name revealed that he had an active felony warrant out for his arrest and that he was on probation. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail.

Watch Summary Sunday, December 4, 2016 NIGHT WATCH Time: 0058 hours S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was arrested for public intoxication then transported to the main jail. Time: 0206 hours S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was operating a motor vehicle that was stopped for a vehicle code violation. S-2 (Sacramento resident) was a passenger in the vehicle being driven by S-1. Another occupant in the vehicle was contacted and found to be on probation. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a loaded handgun, burglary tools, marijuana, narcotics paraphernalia and a controlled substance. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail. S-2 was taken into custody then transported to juvenile hall.
DAY WATCH Time: 1004 hours S-1 (Sacramento resident) was operating a motor vehicle that was stopped for a vehicle code violation. A records check revealed that S-1 was on probation. A search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery narcotic paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail.
