Location: 9300 block of Elk Grove Florin Rd.
Suspect: RAMIREZ, EDWARD (HMA, 31, ARRESTED)
Officers responded to a disturbance at the above location involving S-1 (Elk Grove resident). The reporting person advised that S-1 was acting paranoid and would be combative with law enforcement. When officers arrived, the reporting person advised that S-1 was sitting in the residence and there was a knife nearby. When officers opened an unlocked door to the residence and announced their presence, S-1 ran towards the officers with a knife in his right hand. S-1 would not comply with instructions and continued to approach the officers. Based on S-1’s actions, an officer fired one less lethal bean bag round at S-1. S-1 dropped the knife and was taken into custody by officers. S-1 was cleared for incarceration at a local area hospital then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: SALMERON, ENRIQUE (WMA, 32, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was arrested for public intoxication then transported to the main jail.

Location: Franklin Blvd. / Laguna Blvd.
Suspect: KELLER, KIRK (WMA, 48, ARRESTED)
Officers responded to the above location regarding a vehicle driving recklessly in the area. The reporting person provided a description of the vehicle and the license plate number. Officers checked the registered owners address and located the described vehicle parked at the location and contacted S-1 (Elk Grove resident). Officers determined that S-1 had been driving the vehicle that the reporting person had observed driving recklessly. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.
