Candidates for vacant Elk Grove city council seat file applications
Twenty one residents of council district four have filed applications to be considered for the appointment. The City Council will hold a special meeting on February 2 at 6 pm to review the applications, at which time each person is expected to have time to speak before the council. It is possible the council will decide that night on a person to fill the vacancy.
