S-1 (Sacramento resident) was operating a motor vehicle that was stopped for a vehicle code violation. S-2 (Sacramento resident) was a passenger in the vehicle being driven by S-1. A records check revealed that S-1 was on probation and that his driver’s license was suspended. A probation search of S-1 led to the discovery of a controlled substance. A search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of burglary tools. A records check revealed that S-2 had an active warrant out for her arrest. S-2 was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance and narcotic paraphernalia. Both suspects were arrested then transported to the main jail.

Suspect:   JUVENILE (BMJ, 14, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) attempted to take the victim’s bicycle from a bike rack after breaking a bike lock that was attached. The victim confronted S-1 and was able to recover the bicycle. S-1 struck the victim twice in the face and continued to try and take the bicycle. The victim managed to hold onto the bicycle and secured it inside a build. S-1 also threatened the victim. S-1 fled the area in an unknown direction and EGPD was contacted. Responding officers were able to locate and detain S-1. S-1 was positively identified as being responsible for the attempted robbery. S-1 was taken into custody then transported to juvenile hall.
