An on duty Sacramento County Sheriff’s Deputy was waved down by a citizen regarding a driver, S-1 (Elk Grove resident), who had struck the center median on a divided roadway and pulled into a parking lot. The deputy contacted S-1 then contacted EGPD after observing that S-1 appeared intoxicated. EGPD officers arrived and contacted S-1. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

The two juvenile victims were riding a bicycle and scooter in the area of Stephenson Park when they were approached by two unknown suspects who were in a small blue pick-up truck. The suspects called the victims over to the truck. When the juveniles approached, both suspects exited their vehicle. One of the suspects lifted one of the juveniles of his bicycle. The second suspect pushed the second juvenile off of his scooter. The suspects took the bicycle and scooter then fled in the truck. S-1 was described as a HMA, 18, wearing a black sweatshirt and blue jeans. S-2 was described as a HMA, 18, wearing a black sweatshirt and blue jeans. The victims were not injured during the robbery and the incident wasn’t reported until 1930 hours.

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was operating a motor vehicle that was stopped during a call for service. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. S-1 did not have any identification and officers were unable to locate S-1 during a records check. S-1 was arrested and a search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of narcotic paraphernalia. S-1 was processed then transported to the main jail.

Officers observed S-1 (Sacramento resident) sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle that had collided with a planter box in the parking lot. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Officers responded to the area of Calvine Rd. and Jordan Ranch Rd. regarding a hit and run collision. The reporting person indicated that the suspect vehicle was a Chevy Corvette. Responding officers located the involved vehicle, being driven by S-1 (Elk Grove resident), with front end damage and attempted to conduct a vehicle stop. S-1 did not yield and led officers on a pursuit that travelled 6.8 miles. S-1 eventually pulled over and was detained. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail.

S-1 and the occupants of the vehicle were detained. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a loaded handgun underneath the driver’s seat. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail.
