Suspect: BURNETT, DIEDRICK (BFA, 38, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was observed shoplifting from the above business by an employee. S-1 fled the location on foot and EGPD was called. Responding officers located S-1 a short distance away from the business. When officers attempted to contact S-1, S-1 would not comply with instructions. An officer deployed his Taser but the probes did not penetrate S-1’s clothing. Officers were able to subdue S-1 after a brief struggle. The stolen merchandise was recovered and returned to the store. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail.

The victim was walking down the street when a vehicle pulled up next to him. One of the occupants inside the vehicle discharge several pellets from an airsoft pistol at the victim. The victim suffered visible injuries and the vehicle fled the area. No additional information at this time.

Suspect: ZUNIGA, ALCIA (WFA, 34, ARRESTED) valley springs
Officers responded to the above location after a pizza delivery driver received a fictitious $100 bill as payment. Officers arrived and contacted S-1 (Valley Springs resident) who matched the description of the person who paid for the pizza. S-1 was detained and found to be in possession of four additional fictitious $100 bills. S-1 was arrested then issued a citation and released.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was arrested for an active warrant then transported to the main jail.

DAY WATCH Time: 1244 hours S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation. When V-1 attempted to leave the residence, S-1 smashed the windshield of V-1’s vehicle. S-1 then pushed V-1 against a wall while a small child was present. V-1 suffered visible injuries during the altercation. Officers arrived and detained S-1. A records check revealed that S-1 was on parole. A search of S-1’s vehicle led to discovery counterfeit $100 bills, checkbooks not belonging to S-1 and electronic equipment. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail. EVENING WATCH Time: 2304 hours S-1 (Sacramento resident) was operating a motor vehicle that was stopped for a vehicle code violation. A records check revealed that S-1 was on probation. S-1 was found to be in possession of narcotics. S-1 was arrested then issued a citation and released. |
