Elk Grove residents awakened by armed robbers

Shortly after 1 am Monday morning three men, at least one of them armed with a handgun, broke into a home in 9000 block of Testerman Way. The occupants were asleep at the time.  The suspects described at black males, confronted the victims and demanded personal property. Before leaving the home suspects took a child’s backpack. Elk Grove police arrived but were unable to locate the suspects
