During a search warrant service, detectives recovered narcotics and indicia of sales. Officers also located an unregistered loaded handgun with an extended magazine. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: ROBERTS, ERIC (WMA, 35, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was arrested then issued a citation for being in possession of marijuana and lodging on private property without permission from the owner. S-1 was issued a citation then released.

Suspect: UNKNOWN (HMA, 40’s)

S-1 was observed shoplifting while inside Bel Air. When S-1 exited the store without paying for the merchandise, the loss prevention officer (LPO) contacted S-1 in the parking lot. S-1 was loading the stolen merchandise into the backseat of a vehicle when confronted by the LPO. When confronted, S-1 jumped into the backseat of the vehicle he was loading groceries into. The LPO placed a shopping cart behind the vehicle in an effort to prevent escape. The driver of the vehicle, identified as a HFA, backed the vehicle she was driving into the shopping cart which then hit the LPO. As the suspect vehicle left the parking lot, the LPO had to move out of the way in order to avoid being struck. S-1 was described as a HMA, 40’s, 5’8″, 160 lbs., wearing a black hooded sweat jacket and black pants. The suspect vehicle was described as a black BMW. The loss prevention officer was not injured.
