Elk Grove Police ask for help in identifying Walgreens robbery suspects

 

A third suspect was arrested shortly after the robbery

 

ELK GROVE, CA – The Elk Grove Police Department is asking for the community’s help in locating two suspects responsible for the robbery of a Walgreens. On April 26, 2017, at 2:57 p.m., the below pictured suspects entered Walgreens and jumped over the pharmacy counter. One of the suspects took a pharmacy employee by the arm and demanded specific medications. Both suspects took an undisclosed amount of medication from the pharmacy and fled the store on foot. No vehicle was seen associated to the suspects.

 

The first suspect was described as a black male adult, 20’s, 5’8” tall with a slender build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black shoes, and light blue gloves. The second suspect was described as a black male adult, 20’s, 5’10” tall with a slender build. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt under a black crew neck sweatshirt, black pants, black shoes, and light blue gloves.

Callers to Crime Alert can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00. Tips can also be sent via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on a cell phone, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message
