Local Burger joins the Elk Grove restaurant scene

A new restaurant that features burgers on its menu and in its name is hitting the Elk Grove dining scene this week.  Local Burger is opening this Friday at 3 pm. The restaurant will take over for the recently closed Double Nickel restaurant inside Pins N Strikes Bowling.

Local Burger will be operated by longtime Elk Grove resident Cameron Lee, who also owned the Double Nickel with friend and former Elk Grove high standout, turned Chicago Bear, Lance Briggs.  I asked Lee about this new concept.

Our motto is simple, local, fresh, burgers ranging from 6.99-11.99, all will include fries. Most expensive sandwich is $9.99. Meant to be an affordable option for families and different from fast food. It will be super kid friendly. We will have a huge chalk board for kids to draw on as they wait and every kids meal comes with a scratch pad as well. We will also have 6 pool tables added to rooms which you can play for hourly rates and 4 dart boards that are free.
Local Burger will be open 7 days a week. Monday – Friday, 3 pm to closing. Saturday 11 am to 9 pm and Sunday, 11 am to close.

Address: 3443 Laguna Blvd., #150, Elk Grove, CA 95758
