Watch Summary NIGHT WATCH Time: 0005 hours S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was operating a motor vehicle that was stopped for a vehicle code violation. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested. Time: 0544 hours S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation. During the altercation, S-1 grabbed V-1 by the hair and dragged V-1 around the house. S-1 also struck V-1 several times with a hanger and a ruler. V-1 suffered a visible injury. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail. DAY WATCH Time: 0937 hours S-1 (Sacramento resident) was contacted at his residence during follow-up to an investigation involving S-2 (Sacramento resident) who was already incarcerated. A consent search of the location led to the discovery of three stolen vehicles and associated vehicle parts. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail. An additional charge of auto theft was added to S-2 who was already in custody. Time: 1553 hours S-1 was arrested for public intoxication and violating the conditions of his probation then transported to the main jail. EVENING WATCH Time: 2108 hours S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was operating a motor vehicle that was stopped for a vehicle code violation. A records check revealed that S-1 was on probation. A search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of a controlled substance. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail.
Time: 2145 hours S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was operating a motor vehicle that was involved in a collision with another vehicle. After S-1 exchanged information with the other driver, S-1 drove away from the location. The other driver believed that S-1 was impaired and called EGPD. Responding officers located the described vehicle and conducted a vehicle stop. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. S-1 was medically cleared for incarceration at a location area hospital then transported to the main jail. |

Watch Summary Saturday, July 22, 2017 NIGHT WATCH Time: 0050 hours S-1 (Sacramento resident) was operating a motor vehicle that was stopped for a vehicle code violation. S-1’s driver’s license was found to be suspended and the license plates on S-1’s vehicle had been switched. A search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of a controlled substance and narcotic paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested then issued a citation and released. Time: 0230 hours S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was operating a motor vehicle that was stopped for a vehicle code violation. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested. Time: 0543 hours Officers responded to the above location regarding an individual who was observed looking into parked vehicles. Responding officers located and contacted S-1 who matched the description provided. Upon contact, S-1 was found to be on probation. A probation search of S-1 led to the discovery of property not belonging to S-1. The property owner was contacted and indicated that the items had been taken from his unlocked vehicle. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail. ________________________________________________________________________________ DAY WATCH Time: 1207 hours S-1 (Galt resident) was arrested for an active warrant then transported to the main jail.
Time: 1506 hours S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was taken into custody for violating the conditions of her probation then transported to juvenile hall. EVENING WATCH Time: 1758 hours S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation. During the altercation, S-1 punched V-1 in the face. V-1 suffered a visible injury. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail. Time: 2124 hours An unknown suspect, driving a white Nissan Altima, cut in front of other vehicles in the drive thru line at a restaurant. When approached by management about having cut in line, S-1 threatened the employees. When S-1 exited her vehicle and walked to the trunk, the employees ran back into the business. S-1 fled the scene before officers arrived. Time: 2205 hours S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was operating a motor vehicle that was stopped for a vehicle code violation. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested. Time: 2255 hours The victim was outside working on his vehicle when he was approached by two unknown suspects. Both suspects, who were armed with handguns, confronted the victim and demanded the victim’s personal property. V-1 feared for his safety and complied. The suspects took the victims property then fled the area on foot. The suspects were described as BMA’s, were dark clothing. |

S-1 (Auburn, WA resident) and S-2 (Sacramento resident) were contacted at their vehicle during a call for service. Upon contact, a records check revealed that S-2 was on probation. A probation search of the vehicle led to the discovery of burglary tools, misc. hand tools, a loaded handgun and a controlled substance. S-1 was contacted and found to be in possession of ammunition belonging to the handgun located in the vehicle. Both suspects were arrested then transported to the main jail.
