Robber enters through unlocked door, flees when confronted by resident

Early Wednesday morning a man entered a residence through an unlocked door in the 8500 block of Hawley Way, which is near Monterey Trail High School. The incident took place shortly after 6:30 am. The suspect took personal property from the home and fled when confronted by the victim. The suspect was described as a black male adult, in his 20’s, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants. The suspect fled on foot.
