Arrest made in Elk Grove Bank of America attempted robbery

 

An arrest was made on August 8 for the attempted robbery of the Bank of America branch located at 8842 Calvine Road.  27 year old Mackkinley Martin of Elk Grove was arrested by Elk Grove Police for the attempted robbery that took place on July 26, 2017.  According to Elk Grove Police, Martin’s case has been adjudicated and he was sentenced to time at the Rio Cosumnes Correctional Center, south of the city of Elk Grove.  According to the Sacramento Sheriff’s website, Martin is scheduled to be released on November 5.

 

On July 26, 2017, Martin walked into the Bank of America branch and passed a note.  No money was taken and Martin fled the scene.  Surveillance photos of Martin were publicly released shortly after the attempted robbery

    It is a county jail which means he was sentenced to 1 year or less. Citizens should not be okay with this.
