This week at Florin High school, our Panther Athletics is in full swing! Here are some of the highlights.

Soccer- Men and Women’s soccer for the winter season has announced they will soon start conditioning. Last year, the seasonal soccer teams were shifted to winter. Men used to play during fall, and women during spring. It has been quite the challenge for them. Women’s soccer will start October 16th to start getting in shape. Both men and lady panthers are eager for the new turf field that is in the process of being built in the back of the school. Stay tuned for more information.

Tennis- Our Florin High women’s tennis team is halfway through their prosperous season! This week, they have played Sac High and won 9-0. They also tackled Hiram Johnson, and won 4-0 with only 4 players! Congratulations to both teams for trying their best.

Football-  The football team took on Hiram Johnson High School this Friday night at Mark Macres Stadium. They have put in countless hours at their practices perfecting skills and pushing their limits. Their work has definitely payed off, because they won 6-0! Great job to our football players, and to Johnson for putting up a fight.

And remember, every day is a great day to be a Panther!
