Elk Grove Police arrest man suspected of two laptop robberies in Elk Grove

 

 

On Friday Elk Grove police arrested a man that is suspected of stealing two laptops in the Elk Grove area this month. 19 year old Ryan Arnold of Sacramento was arrested and is being held on $460,500 bail at the county jail. Through their investigative efforts, detectives were able to tie Ryan to both robberies.

 

The first robbery took place on October 17 at the Starbucks located at 7701 Laguna Blvd. Arnold allegedly walked into the Starbucks, closed the laptop while a female victim was using it and then took it from her before fleeing to a getaway vehicle.

 

The second robbery took place on October 24.  In that incident Ryan is suspected of responding to a Craigslist ad to buy a MacBook Pro laptop. Ryan showed up at the residence and then punched the victim in the face, stealing the laptop and fleeing again to an awaiting vehicle.
