Suspect:       JOHNSTON, BRIAN (BMA, 22, ARRESTED)

S-1(Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument that escalated in to a physical altercation. During the altercation, S-1 pushed V-1 to the ground. S-1 also choked and kneed V-1 in the head. V-1 had suffered visible injuries. S-1 also used a rock to damage the windows of V-1’s vehicle. S-1 was arrested then transported to the main jail.

Suspect:        UNKNOWN (BMA, 40’s)

S-1 was observed shoplifting inside the business by employees. When the employees attempted prevent S-1 from leaving the business. S-1 pushed the employees out of the way and raised his arm as if he was going to punch them. S-1 fled the location on foot and was seen leaving in a white colored vehicle.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was arrested for public intoxication and transported to the main jail.

Location:      9000 block of W. Stockton Blvd.
Victim:          Home Depot
Suspect:      JOYNES, MARILLA (WFA, 44, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Elverta resident) entered the above location and conducted fraudulent returns by removing items from the shelves and returning them in exchange for money.  S-1 was detained by loss prevention. A records check revealed S-1 was on probation. S-1 was arrested then transported at the main jail.
