Detectives from the EGPD Street Crimes Unit served a seven location search warrant (9200 block of Glenayle Pl., 8100 block of Laguna Brook Way, 8800 block of Coral Berry Way, 8500 block of Blackberry Way, 6900 block of Kilconnell Dr., 5300 block of Lake Pleasant Dr. and 9400 block of Syrah Ct. related to an active marijuana cultivation operation. Detectives recovered over 1700 plants and 16 pounds of processed marijuana. Both suspects (Elk Grove residents) were arrested then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was arrested for public intoxication and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect #1: UNKNOWN (BMA, 20’s)
Suspect #2: UNKNOWN (BFA, 20’s)
S-1 and S-2 entered the above location and were observed shoplifting by store employees. When one of the employees attempted to confront S-2, S-2 punched the employee in the head. S-1 then brandished a firearm and made threats towards the employees. Both suspects fled the scene in black vehicle westbound on Laguna Blvd. S-1 was described as an African American adult, 20’s, 5’10 and thin build. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and dark colored sweatpants. S-2 was described as an African American female, 20’s, 5’3 and thin build. She was wearing a grey sweatshirt and blue jeans.
