Suspect: CLELAND, CASEY (WMA, 32, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle involved in a collision with a fixed object.     S-1 was observed by witnesses walking away from the scene of the collision and later located a short distance away hiding by responding officers. Upon contact, S-1 displayed signs of impairment. A search of S-1’s property led to the discovery of controlled substances as well as narcotic paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: UNKNOWN (BMA, 20’s)

V-1 was the driver of a motor vehicle that was stopped at a red light at the above location.  While the vehicle was stopped, S-1 (unknown) exited a white vehicle that was behind V-1, and approached V-1’s driver’s side rear door and tried to open it. S-1 began yelling at V-1 while pulling on the locked door handle. V-1 was in fear for her safety, and the safety of her child who was also in the vehicle with her. When the light turned green, V-1 drove away and S-1 ran back to the suspect vehicle. S-1 was described as an African American male, 5’8” to 5’9”, 20’s, no shirt, blue jeans. The driver of the suspect vehicle was describe an African American female.

Officers responded to assist store loss prevention with S-1 (Elk Grove resident) who was detained for shoplifting. A search of S-1’s person led to the discovery of a controlled substance. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation and released.
