Elk Grove woman violates restraining order and assaults victim with a knife

 

Elk Grove police arrested an Elk Grove woman on Saturday morning when she arrived at the victim’s house that has a restraining order against.  The incident happened around 3 am.  The suspect, 38 year old Angelica Navarette of Elk Grove, arrived at the home and and argument ensued.  Navarette then pulled out a razor knife and attempted to cut the victim.  The victim’s shirt was cut and there was a minor injury as a result of the altercation.

 

Navarette then fled the scene in her vehicle. Responding officers arrived and located her hiding in the vehicle.  The weapon was located.  She was also found to be on probation.  She was arrested and charged with three felonies and two misdemeanors, and is being held without bail at this time.
