Arrest made in early morning stabbing at Denny’s on Tuesday

 

Elk Grove police arrested one man in an early morning stabbing incident at the Denny’s on Elk Grove Blvd Tuesday morning. The incident took place shortly after 3 am.  The suspect, 36 year old Adrian Thompson of Oakland, was involved in an argument that led to the assault when he pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the arm.  Thompson then dropped the knife and took the victim to the hospital.  Thompson and the victim knew each other.  Officers responded to the hospital and after further investigation it was determined Thompson was on parole.  He was then arrested and taken to jail
