Suspect:  MOORE, BENJAMIN (WMA, 20, ARRESTED)

Officers attempted to stop S-1 (El Dorado Hills resident), was the driver of a motorcycle, for a vehicle code violation. S-1 refused to stop and fled from officers. Officers pursued S-1 for a short distance and then terminated the pursuit. S-1 was later located at his residence and detained. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was arrested for public intoxication and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect:  YORK, ARTHUR (BMA, 61, ARRESTED)

V-1 dropped an envelope that contained a check and some cash while shopping. V-1 returned to the area where had dropped the envelope and retrieved it. While standing in line to check out, S-1 (Oakland resident) confronted V-1 claiming the envelope belonged to him. A struggle ensued between S-1 and V-1. During the struggle, S-1 choked V-1 with a piece of clothing. S-1 pushed V-1 causing V-1 to fall and hit the corner of the check stand with V-1’s head. As a result, V-1 suffered visible injuries. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Roseville resident) was the passenger in a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A records check revealed S-1 to be on probation. A probation search of S-1’s property led to the discovery of a controlled substance, prescription medication not prescribed to S-1, marijuana, and indicia indicative of narcotic sales. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.
