EGPD K9 assists with arrest of suspect with multiple warrants

 

 

Yesterday afternoon Elk Grove police officers were attempting to arrest a suspect that had multiple active warrants.  Officer believed she was hiding in a residence in the 9600 block of Kent Street in Old Town Elk Grove.  The suspect refused to come out of the house after several announcements.  Officers used a K9 officer to help locate the suspect inside and place her under arrest.  40 year old Rebecca Curtis of Elk Grove was arrested on active warrants and resisting an officer.

 

Also arrested at the same time was Amy Hallanger, 38, for an active warrant

Curtis has a history of arrests with the Elk Grove Police Department.

    What does that mean and what were they paying for.

    “A history of arrests” lol that’s good EGPD stays busy with them.
