Elk Grove police arrest two in robbery of Dick’s Sporting Goods

 

On Sunday night Elk Grove police officers arrested two women who were involved in the robbery of Dick’s Sporting Goods on October 23.

Dispatchers received a call on Sunday night regarding reckless driving near the area of Monterey Oaks and Altameda. The caller described the vehicle as a dark green jeep with paper plates ans damage to one side. EGPD dispatcher recognized the description of the car as one that was involved in the robbery at Dick’s Sporting Goods. Responding officers were able to find the vehicle and conducted a stop. Three people were in vehicle.  Two of the occupants were identified as the robbery suspects from Dick’s Sporting Goods. They were identified as 19-year-old Cherridy Coulter of Citrus Heights and 22-year-old Laviesha Williams of Antelope. Coulter and Williams were arrested and then transported to the main jail.
