Tea Cup Coffee & Boba Tea hosts grand opening this weekend

This weekend Elk Grove welcomes a new place for boba tea in the city. Tea Cup Coffee and Boba Tea will hold a soft opening on Friday, and their grand opening on Saturday and Sunday.  They are located at 8351 Elk Grove Blvd #500, Elk Grove, California 95758.

Earlier this week I talked to one of the owners, May Huang, about this venture.  She was excited to talk about how Tea Cup will be different than other boba tea houses.  The Elk Grove area has seen an increase in stores that feature boba tea.

1) First boba cafe that made boba in-house.  Our brown sugar boba is made from scratch daily.
2) we serve premium teas that made to order
3) we use cane and brown sugar to sweetened our drinks, no fructose.
4) we use fresh local fruits for all our fruit teas, no artificial flavors
5) we make our salted cheese cream in house, no powders
6) we use high grade matcha

Currently they will have brown sugar boba, but in the future, will offer multiple flavors

Most of their premium teas are customized directly from Taiwan and it’s fresh made to order

Their drinks are sweetened with cane and brown sugar.

They make their salted foam cream in house.  They will offer salted cheese and Tiramisu cream.

They use fresh local fruits for their fruit teas. A natural way to sweeten the drinks and no artificial flavors. They use
passion fruits, grapefruit, kiwi, strawberry, peach, lemon, watermelon

They use high grade matcha to make their matcha latte
this is a secret menu drink: matcha latte with matcha pudding and salted cheese cream on top
