Suspect: NEWLAND, JEREMY (WMA, 43, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Lodi resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle and known to be on probation. S-1 was stopped and detained. A probation search of S-1’s person and vehicle led to the discovery of heroin, indicia related to narcotic sales, and narcotic paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: GRASSI, ANTHONY (WMA, 40, ARRESTED)

S-1 (Lodi resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A records check revealed S-1 to be on probation. A probation search of the vehicle led to the discovery of prescription medication, methamphetamine, and indicia related to narcotic sales. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

A witness observed S-1 (Elk Grove resident) taking packages from the doorstep of a house in the area. S-1 got into the passenger seat of an awaiting vehicle that was occupied by two other individuals. The suspect vehicle drove off. The witness followed in his vehicle. The suspect vehicle tried to elude the witness and tossed the victim’s packages out of the vehicle. At one point, the suspect vehicle stopped and S-1 exited the vehicle. S-1 walked towards the witness, who had stopped as well, and brandished a knife. The witness confronted S-1 causing S-1 to get back into the vehicle and the vehicle took off again. Responding officers located and stopped the vehicle. All three occupants were detained. A records check revealed S-1 to be on probation. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle involved in a collision with another vehicle. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of being impaired. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Officers responded to a call for service regarding S-1 (Sacramento resident). A probable cause search of S-1’s person and property led to the discovery of burglary tools and narcotic paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.
