A search of S-1’s person and vehicle led to the discovery of methamphetamine and narcotic paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was observed by store loss prevention using scissors to cut security tags off merchandise and then concealed the merchandise in his clothing. All was done with S-2 (Sacramento resident) standing next to S-1. Both suspects left the business with the stolen merchandise. Responding officers located the suspects driving away, stopped and detained them. S-1 gave officers a false name but officers were able to discover S-1’s true identity. A record check revealed S-1 was on probation and had an active warrant out for his arrest. The record check also revealed S-2 was on probation. Both suspects were arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 also forcibly removed V-1’s glasses and scratched V-1’s vehicle causing damage. S-1 left the scene with V-1’s glasses prior to officers’ arrival. S-1 was later located, arrested and then transported to the main jail.

A probation search of the area where S-1 was seated led to the discovery of methamphetamine. S-2 was found to be in possession of narcotic paraphernalia. S-2 was arrested, issued a citation and released. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.
