V-1 was unloading packages from his work vehicle when S-1 and S-2 ran up, pushed V-1 away and took packages off V-1’s cart. S-3 then ran up and grabbed the remaining packages off V-1’s cart. S-1 and S-2 fled in a vehicle with the stolen packages. S-3 ran to another vehicle, driven by S-4. That vehicle fled with the remaining stolen packages. S-1, S-2, and S-3 were described as African American male adults wearing dark colored hooded sweatshirts. Both suspect vehicles were described as newer silver colored sedans with paper plates.

Officers responded to a call for service regarding S-1 (San Francisco resident) and S-2 shoplifting. Prior to the officers’ arrival, S-2 fled to an unknown location. Officers arrived and contacted S-1 in the parking lot. S-1 became physically resistive and refused to follow the officers’ commands. While physically resisting, S-1 grabbed the officer’s throat. Officers were able to overcome her resistance and detained her. A search of S-1’s bag led to the discovery that the bag was heavily lined in aluminum foil and contained the stolen merchandise. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was arrested for an active warrant and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: LEE, JOHNIESHA (BFA, 24, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A record check revealed S-1 had an active warrant out for her arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.
