Elk Grove police have arrested four people in last week’s robberies of teens in Elk Grove. There were two incidents in less than one hour last Thursday. Detectives were able to identify the suspect vehicle and suspects through their investigations.
Elk Grove Police posted the following on their Facebook page:
Last night, around 10 p.m., patrol officers located the suspect vehicle traveling southbound Elk Grove Florin Road approaching Bond Road. Officers conducted a vehicle stop and detained both occupants. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of an unloaded firearm under the driver’s seat. Both occupants were determined to be related to the robberies that had occurred on April 25th. The suspects were identified as 18-year-old Serena Abell and a 16-year-old male, both of Sacramento. The male juvenile was booked into juvenile hall on attempted robbery, robbery, and firearm possession related charges. Abell was booked at the main jail on attempted robbery and robbery charges.
Today, detectives located and arrested the two additional outstanding suspects (a male and female juvenile) related to the April 25th robberies leaving their residence in Sacramento. Both juveniles were booked into juvenile hall on attempted robbery and robbery charges.
Detectives were able to recover some of the victim’s stolen property.
Based on the investigation, detectives are confident all suspects are in custody related to the robberies described above.
