Suspect #1: BLOCK, KAJON (BMA, 25, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2: TOMPKINS, LUCY (WFA, 19, ARRESTED)
S-1 and S-2 (Sacramento residents) were observed by store loss prevention shoplifting. Responding officers arrived and attempted to detain both suspects. S-1 physically resisted the officers and S-2 fled on foot from officers. Officers were able to overcome S-1’s resistance and detained him. S-2 was located and detained not far from the original location. A search incident to arrest of S-2’s property led to the discovery of the stolen merchandise. Both suspects were arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: JUVENILE (BMJ, 17, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation when S-1 grabbed V-1 by the neck and attempted to choke V-1. V-1 sustained visible injuries. S-1 was taken into custody and then transported to juvenile hall.
