Fight leads to two people being stabbed in Elk Grove Thursday night

A fight on Thursday night led to stabbing of two victims. The incident took place around 8 pm, in the 9600 block of Elk Grove – Florin Road. According to police, two groups of people engaged on a “mutual fight”. During the fight two people were stabbed.

As police arrived on scene, they observed one of the victims running northbound towards Elk Grove Blvd. Officers detained the victim and then the victim was taken to the hospital by the Cosumnes Fire Department. A second victim was taken to the hospital by a friend.

 One suspect was described as a Caucasian male, 16-20 years old, 5’6”-5’8”, and wearing a white t-shirt. Another suspect was described as a Caucasian male, 16-20 years old, thin build and wearing blue jeans.
