Juveniles involved in two separate robberies on Sunday in Elk Grove, one arrested.

Juveniles were involved in two unrelated robberies on Sunday in Elk Grove. One was arrested. The other is being sought by police.

The first incident took place in the 5800 of Laguna Quail Way at around 12:45 pm. The victim arranged to meet the suspect at a location to complete an online transaction. The suspect then pulled out a gun and demanded the victim’s cell phone. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene on foot. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male juvenile, 15-18, wearing grey colored clothing.

The second incident happened at around 7:15 pm in the 10000 block of Bruceville Road. The suspect and the victim knew each other. The suspect demanded the victim’s phone. The victim refused and was pushed down by the suspect, who then fled on his bike. Arriving officers located and detained and arrested the suspect, A 14 year old African American male. The phone was found in the suspect’s possession.

A third incident involving juveniles happened Saturday night when two were arrested for reporting a false emergency.
