Suspect: JOHNSON, APRIL (BFA, 28, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Oakland resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle stopped for vehicle code violations. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested. An inventory search of S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of two open containers of alcohol.

S-1 (Sacramento resident) rented a vehicle and never returned it even after several notices had been sent to S-1. The vehicle was reported as a stolen vehicle. Using the vehicle’s onboard communications device, officers located S-1 driving the vehicle in Sacramento. With the assistance of outside agencies, S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.
