Elk Grove police arrest three men in connection with auto burglaries at Morse Park

A quick thinking community member helped Elk Grove police catch three men suspected of breaking into vehicles at Morse Park on Tuesday afternoon.

The witness noticed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot and saw a man running towards the car with a purse in his hand. The witness called 911 with a vehicle description and partial license plate.

Officers located the suspect vehicle and conducted a vehicle stop near the Elk Grove auto mall. The suspects had discarded some of the stolen property along the way, which was later located by officers. Additional stolen property was located in the suspect vehicle.

All three men were taken into custody. The suspects were identified as 20-year-old Donald Zackery, 19-year-old Kevin Davis and 21-year-old Nalon Rapier all of Sacramento.
