Galt Police investigating threats against Walmart and Raley’s

The Galt Police Department issued a press release that the department was investigating threats made to the Raley’s and Walmart stores in Galt.

On August 6, the unidentified caller made reference to the recent mass shootings when calling both stores, who reported it to police. Galt police also reported it to the FBI.

Increased security and police presence was provided at both stores. Galt police said they have no evidence the threats were credible. Anyone having information is asked to contact the Galt Police Department at 209-366-7000.
