For the second time in two days, Elk Grove police arrest suspects wanted for Bay Area violent crimes

On August 8th Elk Grove police arrested two 19 year old females in a stolen car belonging to a victim of a violent assault.

The previous night around 9:30 pm, a 50 year male living in Antioch called Antioch police to report he was stabbed. Police and medics arrived on scene to find the man suffering from multiple life threatening stab wounds.

The victim told police he was stabbed by two females who took his personal belongings and his vehicle. The victim was in critical condition as of Saturday.

At approximately 12 pm on August 8th, Elk Grove police officers located the stolen vehicle being driven by two females. License plate of the stolen car was picked up by a license plate reader in the city. The two women were taken into custody and taken back to Antioch for questioning. Both are 19 years old. One is a resident of Sacramento and the other a resident of Martinez.

On August 7, Elk Grove police arrested a suspect wanted for murder in Livermore. A license plate reader alerted police the suspect was in Elk Grove.
