A record check revealed both suspects had active warrants out for their arrest. A search of S-1’s person led to the discovery of methamphetamine. Both suspects were arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle stopped for vehicle code violations and driving recklessly. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation when S-1 grabbed V-1 and dragged V-1 for a short distance. S-1 then proceeded to punch V-1in the neck causing V-1 to fall and causing a visible injury. V-1 was able to escape but S-1 ran after V-1 and dragged V-1 back. Prior to and after the incident, S-1 threatened V-1. S-1 fled prior to officers’ arrival but was later located. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail. V-1 was granted an emergency protective order against S-1.

S-1 was described as a Hispanic male, 25-30 years old, red shirt and blue jeans.

V-1 was walking in the above area when he was approached by the three suspects. The suspects started grabbing on V-1’s property and at one point, V-1 was punched by two of the suspects. V-1 was able to fend off the suspects and the suspects fled westbound without taking V-1’s property. All three suspects were described as African American juveniles. S-1 was wearing a black shirt and jeans. S-2 was wearing black shorts and a white t-shirt. S-3 was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
