Location: 9300 block of Elk Grove Florin Rd.
Suspect: RAMIREZ, EDWARD (HMA, 33, ARRESTED)
Officers responded to a call for service regarding S-1 (Elk Grove resident) causing a disturbance. S-1 was known to be on probation. Officers arrived and observed S-1 using a controlled substance. S-1 refused to follow the officers’ directives and became physically resistive when officers attempted to detain S-1. With the assistance of a police canine, S-1 was detained. Narcotic paraphernalia was located near S-1. S-1 was arrested and transported to the main jail, where a search of S-1’s person led to the discovery of methamphetamine.

Suspect: RODARTE, SHAWNA (WFA, 39, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the passenger in a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A record check revealed S-1 was on probation and had an active warrant out for her arrest. A search of S-1’s property led to the discovery of methamphetamine, narcotic paraphernalia, and indicia related to narcotic sales. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.
