Suspect: VALDOVINOS, RAMON (HMA, 40, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle officers attempted to stop for vehicle code violations. S-1 failed to stop and drove to his residence where he pulled into his garage and refused officers commands. S-1 eventually surrendered and was detained. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: COLLINS, SHAWN (BMA, 21, ARRESTED)
V-1 was struck several times in the head and choked by S-1 (Elk Grove resident), who was known to V-1. S-1 then grabbed a knife and cut V-1’s arm and neck. V-1 was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. S-1 fled the scene and was located by responding officers. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: 8500 block of Bond Rd.
Suspect: RODRIGUEZ, GONZALO (HMA, 34, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Galt resident) was observed driving a motor vehicle in the above area. A record check of the vehicle’s license plate revealed the vehicle was a reported stolen vehicle. Officers pulled behind S-1, who then put the vehicle in reverse and backed into the officers’ vehicles. S-1 then led officers on a pursuit. During the pursuit, S-1 was involved in a collision with another vehicle and S-1 continued to flee from officers. S-1 drove into an open field where he fled on foot but was apprehended with the assistance of a police K9. A record check revealed S-1 was on probation and had an active warrant out for his arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: MARINI, THOMAS (WMA, 23, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was detained for shoplifting. A search incident to arrest of S-1’s person led to the discovery of a switchblade knife and prescription medication not prescribed to S-1. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation and released.

Suspect: WATTS, RHIANNON (WFA, 27, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle involved in a single vehicle rollover collision. A child was in the vehicle at the time collision and found not to be properly restrained. The child suffered only minor injuries as a result of the collision. S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment and was arrested. S-1 was treated at a local hospital and then transported to the main jail.

V-1 pulled their vehicle into a driveway of a residence when a vehicle pulled up and five suspects exited the vehicle and approached V-1. The suspects attempted to rob V-1, however, a witness ran outside causing the suspects to get back into their vehicle, which was driven by S-6. The suspect vehicle fled southbound. Five of the six suspects were described as African American males, approximately 18 years old. One suspect was described wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and the another was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. S-6 was an unknown race male. The suspect vehicle was described as a white colored mini-van.
