Suspect #1: MILLER, DARNEL (BMA, 27, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2: JOHNSON, WARD (BMA, 30, ARRESTED)
Suspect #3: MENDOZA BASQUEZ, ANTONIO (HMA, 31, ARRESTED)
Detectives from the Street Crimes Unit served a search warrant at a residence in the 6000 block of Jefjen Way related to a narcotic sales investigation. S-1 (Elk Grove resident) attempted to flee through the rear yard but was detained. S-2 and S-3 (Elk Grove residents) were detained inside the residence. A record check revealed S-3 had an active warrant out for his arrest. A search of the residence led to the discovery of a firearm, cocaine, marijuana and indicia related to narcotic sales. S-3 was arrested for the active warrant only. S-2 and S-3 were arrested and all three suspects were transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was detained for shoplifting. A record check revealed S-1 was on probation. A search of S-1’s person led to the discovery of burglary tools. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.
