Four Elk Grove Unified high schools ranked in the top 25 locally

Four Elk Grove Unified School District high schools made the top 25 locally according to Niche, a website that does rankings of local cities and neighborhoods. The report looked at schools from nearby counties including Sacramento, Sutter, Placer, Amador, Yolo and Solano counties

In the report, Niche used a combination of SAT & ACT scores (60% of the total score), along with other factors such as teacher performance, and surveys from students and parents. Full list of the factors and their weight in the report.

Each school was given a grade based on several factors including, academics, clubs and activities, administration, food, diversity, college prep, health and safety, sports, resources and facilities.

The #1 school in the report was Davis High School. Pleasant Grove High School came in at #11, followed by Franklin High at #12, Sheldon High at #16 and Cosumnes Oaks at #18.

Schools in Rocklin and Folsom also rated highly in the report.
