A Vote for the Community Garden
Help the Elk Grove Community Garden to win a $15,000 grant from Nature’s Path Organics. The annual Gardens for Good grant helps empower urban garden projects to grow organic food and nourish their communities. The program has supported 25 gardens across North America with $15,000 grants over the last 9 years. The top 9 vote receiving gardens will move onto the second phase. Dog Gone Good Fun
Bring the whole pack next Saturday, October 26 to Elk Grove DOGtoberfest. Your furry friends are welcome to this new event at the Elk Grove Animal Shelter (9150 Union Park Way) from Noon to 6 p.m. Interact with dog vendors, chow down on lots of tasty food and local beer, and participate in DOGtoberfest games.
