Suspect: BONILLA, SELVIN (HMA, 30, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Suspect: UNKNOWN (BMA, 18-25) V-1 was walking while using a cell phone when S-1 approached, grabbed the victim and tried to take the V-1’s phone. A struggle ensued and S-1 was able to take S-1’s phone. The victim started screaming and the suspect let the victim go. S-1 ran to a waiting vehicle. The suspect vehicle fled northbound on Laguna Park Drive. S-1 was described as an African American male, 18-25 years old, wearing a light colored jacket and dark colored pants. The suspect vehicle was described as a light-colored four-door sedan.

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was arrested for an active warrant and then transported to the main jail.
