Officers responded to a call for service regarding S-1 (Sacramento resident) passed out in the driver’s seat of a vehicle in the middle of the road. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment.
S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation when S-1 grabbed a knife and attempted to stab V-1 and V-2. During the altercation, S-1 verbally threatened V-1. When officers arrived, S-1 refused to follow the officers’ commands but was eventually detained. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

person led to the discovery of methamphetamine and narcotic paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Officers also discovered a residence as well as a vehicle parked in the driveway of that residence were struck by the shots. There was no suspect description.

Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.
“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
