Suspect: MOLINA, MATTHEW (WMA, 61, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation when S-1 struck V-1 with an object causing visible injuries. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail. V-1 was granted an emergency protective order against S-1.

Location: 9600 block of E. Stockton Blvd.
Suspect: MCELROY, KENNETH (BMA, 27, ARRESTED)
Officers observed a vehicle collision occur in the above area. S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was a passenger in one of the involved vehicles. Officers learned S-1 caused the collision by removing the vehicle’s key from the ignition while the vehicle was in motion. A child was in the vehicle with S-1 at the time of the incident. When officers attempted to detain S-1, S-1 physically resisted and refused to follow the officers’ directives. Officers were able to overcome S-1’s resistance and detained him. A record check revealed S-1 was on probation. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
