Officers will be present at several Elk Grove elementary schools to educate drivers about traffic laws around school zones beginning at 7:30 a.m.

Helicopter Simulation Noise Study for CNU Hospital Project

California Northstate University (CNU), as part of their environmental review process for the proposed medical center campus expansion, has tentatively scheduled a helicopter simulation this Friday afternoon for a noise study with an FAA approved and certified aircraft charter company.  This simulation is tentatively scheduled to occur over a period of approximately one hour at the proposed helistop location on the CNU Medical Center Project site at 2505 West Taron Court. The simulation may be rescheduled for an alternate date if weather conditions are not appropriate for such testing.

Community members are being asked to refrain from using the multi-use trail adjacent to the property during this operation as it will be closed for safety purposes during the simulation.

Should you have specific questions about this simulation, please contact CNU’s representative, Brian Holloway at (916) 731-4435 or brian@holloway.co or visit www.cnuhealth.com.
