Developer buys land for affordable housing near Target in Elk Grove

The Pacific Cos. recently purchased 8 acres along Bruceville Road that could be used for affordable housing, according to a subscriber edition story from the Sacramento Business Journal.

The parcels are located at 9142-9150 Bruceville Road, near the recently opened Quick Quack Car Wash. The developer will work with the city planners to come up with a development project. The property is adjacent to an existing apartment complex.

Last week the city of Elk Grove agreed to purchase 15 acres of land just north of this project for affordable housing and a transit-oriented development. That project will be on the NE corner of Big Horn Blvd and Bruceville Road
