Suspect #1: DEWITT, KAILANI (BFA, 20, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2: MCDANIEL, LATOCHA (BFA, 19, ARRESTED)
S-1 and S-2 (Sacramento residents) were observed shoplifting by store loss prevention. When loss prevention attempted to detain both suspects, they both took off running. Responding officers located both suspects walking in the area. Both suspects attempted to run from the officers but were
unsuccessful. A record check revealed S-2 was on probation. Both suspects were arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: 8900 block of Elk Grove Blvd.
Suspect: LOPEZ, MAGGIE (HFA, 36, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were involved in a verbal argument. S-1 got into her vehicle while V-1 was standing in front of S-1’s vehicle trying to take a picture of S-1’s vehicle. S-1 then drove her vehicle in the direction of V-1, hitting V-1’s leg causing a minor injury. S-1 was arrested and then
transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a motor vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A record check revealed S-1 had an active warrant out for her arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was stopped for a vehicle code violation. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of being impaired. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

S-1 (Stockton resident) was contacted near a closed business. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance. A search incident to arrest led to the discovery of counterfeit money. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: 8900 block of Calvine Rd.
Suspect: GARCIA, JUSTIN (HMA, 34, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was contacted in the above area and known to have active warrants out for his arrest. A search of S-1’s person led to the discovery of heroin. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.
