Fatal collision closes I-5 in Elk Grove
A collision on NB 1-5 killed a motorcyclist this afternoon.
The incident happened around 2:30 pm. The crash involved a motorcycle and another vehicle. The driver of the motorcycle was killed in the collision.
Interstate 5 is closed to northbound traffic at Elk Grove Blvd for the CHP to investigate the incident. No ETO on reopening. Identification of the deceased will be made by the coroner.
